In order to promote scientific research, cultural exchange and effective protection of cultural heritage in countries and regions along the Belt and Road and to preserve and inherit the precious cultural heritages forever, Belt and Road Cultural Heritage Global Alliance declares its founding in Xi’an, P.R. China.
Belt and Road Cultural Heritage Global Alliance (hereinafter referred to as “BRCHGA”) will utilize the abundant and diversified cultural heritage resources in countries and regions along the Belt and Road, take advantage of the strength of science and technology, carry out scientific protection, talent cultivation, skill training and effective utilization of cultural heritage in all dimensions and scales via multidisciplinary crossing and integration.
Guided by Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Heritage Administration and initiated by Northwestern Polytechnical University, BRCHGA consists of the universities, cultural and museum institutions, research institutes and other organizations in countries and regions along the Belt and Road. BRCHGA aims to promote the healthy development of cultural undertakings with innovative research of cultural heritage, strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges among the countries and regions along the Belt and Road, and serve urgent need on cultural undertakings of the whole world.
BRCHGA will stay open and inclusive on basis of improving its working mechanism, promote diversified people-to-people exchange, expand mutually beneficial people-to-people cooperation covering a wide range of areas at multiple levels, play a significant supporting and leading role of science and technology and application innovation in cultural heritage protection, be devoted to serving and realizing the development vision of the countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
Northwestern Polytechnical University, on behalf of all the initial members, announces the establishment of Belt and Road Cultural Heritage Global Alliance.
All members shall work together to achieve consensus, pursue mutual benefit, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.
